^{Sandi Toksvig Sacked from Save the Children}

^{Sandi Toksvig has revealed that Save the Children stopped her from hosting a show because she is a lesbian.}

^{On Radio 4 the lesbian comedian explained that she has been booked to host the 75 anniversary event in London.  Only a few days before the event Toksvig received a phone call telling her that they were concerned about her meeting Princess Anne due to her sexuality.}

^{What makes this even worse is that they told her not to tell anyone.   The hilarious comedian added that it was very likely that the Princess had met a lesbian already, Clare Balding, being an equestrian.  Furthermore, she made the point that the organisation was clearly only interesting in helping children that are NOT gay.}

^{They have now apologised to Toksvig.  Sorry is sometimes the easiest part.  Perhaps organisations should be trained to think before they speak… or think!}
