^{At the same time, there is a rise in people also preferring to meet in groups.  Obviously this has been difficult outside of the capital, especially for femme lesbians.  There are a growing number of groups and events catering for lesbians.  It’s wonderful that lesbians no longer need to fell as isolated even away from London.  However, there is still a shortage of femme groups when you move away from London.}
