^{From Pink List to Rainbow List}

^{It’s that time of the year, the time to nominate for The Independent’s Pink List.  The only change this year is that it’s now called the Rainbow List to be more inclusive.}

^{The list is always significant in that it not only awards those who have made a difference, but it also highlights our community.  My only concern with lists like this one is that once again our community is side-lined and labelled rather than our attributes being seen independent to our sexuality and gender.  What about those who have achieved greatness, but chosen not to come out?} 

^{Nonetheless, in reality, due to homophobia still being in} existence, we need lists like this!
