^{As a student who has been hit by the increased tuition fees, I’m (unsurprisingly) not a huge fan of the Liberal Democrats. But, I must say, I do appreciate Nick Clegg’s sense of humour when dealing with The Mail.}

^{A little while ago, The Mail ran a sexist spread discussing the outfit choices of female cabinet ministers. Clegg responded by tweeting a photograph of himself with the caption: ‘What I wore to the office today. Fingers crossed the Mail approves. Hope I don't look too '80s cabin attendant'.’}

^{More recently, The Mail reported on the NHS policy to fund a sperm bank, which would be available for use by straight couples, same-sex couples or single women. Of course, The Mail could not quite get its head around this, and posted the following headline, claiming that the sperm bank was created solely for lesbians.}

^{Responding to this ridiculousness, the Liberal Democrats decided to share their ‘record of delivery for lesbians’ – AKA, mocking The Mail entirely whilst showing support for gay women.}

^{Nice to know politicians can have a laugh too.}
